Merdie's Tavern is a bar located in Linden, New Jersey.
It is owned by Harinder Bains.
Harinder found Ahmad Khan Rahami, the primary suspect of the September 17, 2016 Explosion at 23rd street and 6th avenue Manhattan, sleeping in the doorway of his bar on the morning of September 19.
He recognized his face after watching CNN, and quickly alerted the cops.
This eventually led to a gunfire exchange and the capture of Ahmad.
