Melissa Marian is a saleswoman and resident of Milwaukee known for being in a viral video where at a gas station she jumps on top of her SUV to stop a teenager from carjacking her. ^[1]

Born and raised in the state of Wisconsin she also grew up near the town of Neenah. She attended Neenah High School. ^[1]

She attended Mount Mary University where she graduated with an Interior design degree. ^[1]

On the afternoon of May 23rd, at around 2pm at a BP gas station on St Paul's Avenue, Melissa had an encounter with juvenile delinquents.

As she was pumping gas into her white SUV, a black Cadillac slowly drove up as she wasn't paying attention, and one of the teenagers got out of the Cadillac and quickly got inside SUV.

As the teen puts the car into gear, Melissa realizes there's someone trying to take her car and she runs to the front of the vehicle to prevent the driver from advancing.

The teen didn't listen to her commands and she jumps on top of the hood of her car to prevent him from driving off, the teen began to laugh at her.

The teen tried to advance and brake to cause Melissa to go flying and release her grip but she hold on.

Eventually the Cadillac advances along with the SUV, and the teen gets out of the car and into the Cadillac.

The SUV continues to advance and Melissa runs off to catch up to it, the Cadillac eventually takes off.

According to Melissa, the first thing she thought is that she did not want to lose her car that day no matter what cost.

She didn't think of the dangers of jumping in front of the car, but went with her adrenaline.

She says that the teen was able to take off with her purse, iPhone, and wallet. ^[1]

She aims to find out which teenagers did this and has asked the public to share the video.
