Melinda Byerley is an entrepreneur and marketing expert based in San Francisco.
She is the founder of TimeShare CMO.
Education
Byerley attended Illinois Wesleyan University where she earned a BFA in Theatre Arts- Stage Management in 1991.
She attained her MBA in FInance and Strategy from the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management.
Career
Throughout her career, Byerley has held marketing and e-commerce leadership roles at companies such as PlantSense (sold to Parrot), Linden Lab / Second Life (head of Virtual Goods, Virtual Currency, and Ad Sales), eBay, PayPal, and Checkpoint Software.
[2]She also founded Vendorsi.com and was the CMO at Poll Everywhere which became one of Y Combinator's top ten revenue generating startups.
In 2015, Byerley founded the data-driven digital marketing firm, TimeShare CMO.
In addition, she has contributed to VentureBeat, GrowthHackers.com, The Growth Marketing Conference, and was a guest lecturer at Cornell University and Babson College.
