Mekaila Mathys (born October 8, 1992) is a South African Actress, Dancer and Social media personality. She is best known for being a cast member of Netflix TV series, Blood & Water. ^[1]

She is a trained professional actress.

She completed an acting course for films at The Screenact Studio Capetown, at Plumstead, Western Cape. She joined Act Cape Town - Film Acting Academy to become fluent in American accent (English). She attended Rodini Films Workshop and learned advanced acting and camera techniques under Bonnie Rodini. She has also completed Level 1 & 2 in Intensive Acting Boot camp at Hollywood Acting Master Class.

She has taken Modern & Hip hop dance training at Karen Freeman Dance Studio & Splice Studio. She leaned advanced Extensive training at Renovatio Dance Company.

Mekaila Mathys appeared in many TV Commercials in South Africa.

She worked for brands like McDonald's, Axe, Coca-cola, Reebok, Engen, MTN and many others. She has been successful worldwide with modeling for brands like Samsung (2019), H&M (2019), Mr Muscle (Egypt and Colombia) and Care For You (2019 Switzerland). ^[3]
