Max Borders is an a uthor, speaker and executive director of Social Evolution (nonprofit).
Career
Max started his career in 1997 as an Adjunct Instructor at Appalachian State University and worked there up to 2003. From 1998 to 2001 he worked as a Technology Journalist/Editor at Accenture. In 2004-2006, Max was a Program director at Institute for Humane Studies and Managing editor of TCS Daily. I n 2006-2009, he served as a Director of Media/Policy Analyst at Civitas Institute, and after that Max became a participant of Koch Associates Program at Charles G. Koch Charitable Foundation. In addition, he tried himself as an Adjunct Researcher at The Seasteading Institute.
Later, Max had a position of an Editor at Free To Choose Network, Emergent Order, The Motley Fool, and Foundation for Economics Education. From 2015 to 2017, he worked as a Director of Idea Accounts at Emergent Order,working on creative development, scripting, and managing relationships with partners in the world of ideas. Currently, Max is the Executive director of Social Evolution, a non-profit organization dedicated to liberating people and solving social problems through innovation. In addition, in 2013 Max co-founded Voice & Exit, an annual event dedicated to exploring the ideas of human flourishing.
Publications
Max is the author of Superwealth: Why we should stop worrying about inequality (2013). He also authored a chapter in New Threats to Freedom (Templeton Press 2010) alongside lights such as Christopher Hitchens and David Mamet.
Education
Max holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Appalachian State University and Master of Arts in Philosophy from University College London. [3]
