Dr. Max Abrahms is Assistant Professor of Political Science at Northeastern University and a group member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Abrahms is considered a leading expert on terrorism and asymmetrical warfare and routinely appears as a commentator in print and on broadcast media worldwide. [1]
Education
Max Abrahms graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History, followed by a Master of Philosophy in International Relations from St. Antony's College, Oxford University in 2002, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Political Science from the University of California Los Angeles in 2010. Career
Prior to his appointment at Northeastern in 2013, Abrahms worked as a researcher at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, Tel Aviv University, the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, West Point Military Academy, Stanford University, Princeton University, Dartmouth College, and Johns Hopkins University.
