Officer Matthew Cammarn is a police officer in Nashville, Tennessee. He is a member of the Music City Defenders. Matthew is originally from Ohio where he attended Clyde High School - Clyde, Ohio.
Cammarn was Nashville’s Police Officer of the Year in 2015 after saving the life of a 17 year old gunshot victim.
He is an army vet and goes by the nickname 'Lil Piggy'.
In April 2016, Officer Cammarn suffered a head injury when a mob at James A Cayce Homes housing project attacked him. Officer Cammarn was responding to a call of shots fired in the area and was trying to make an arrest when he was attacked. Brian E. Shannon has been arrested for assaulting Officer Cammarn.
