Matthew Spataro is a Canadian entrepreneur and blockchain enthusiast currently based in Medellín, Colombia. Spataro has founded several software companies, most recently co-founding KARMA. ^[0] [2]

Between 2009 and 2011, Spataro studied Business Administration and Management at the University of Western Ontario, Ivey Business School. He was elected student affairs representative, was a selected delegate for QMAC and competed in the high jump with the Varsity track and field team. ^[1]

Spataro was a marketing analyst at rivalspot.com in Montreal briefly in 2010 before becoming marketing coordinator for MTV Networks in Toronto in May 2011. Between 2012 and 2013, he worked as a consultant for Northstream in Stockholm, Sweden. In September 2013, Spataro was Marketing Manger for Innovative Dental Laboratories in Toronto.^[1]Spartaro founded Joker Media in 2014, a business that acquired new clients and leads via innovative, digital marketing channels. ^[1]
