Matthew Gallagher is a 36 year old resident from Wichita, Kansas.

Allegations

On April 5, 2016 Gallagher was arrested on charges of child abuse when his girlfriend came home to find her son choking on a live octopus.

Doctors removed a two-inch octopus from the 2 year old boy’s throat.

The boy also had multiple facial injuries.

Officers responding to the scene said that the octopus was intended for sushi.
