Mathieu Gallet (born January 8 1977) is Chairman and CEO of Radio France.
Education
Gallet is the son of a civil servant.
He studied at the Lycee Georges Leygues of Villeneuve-sur-Lot 4.
He then joined the Institute of Political Studies in Bordeaux, where he graduated in 1999, before enrolling in economics at Sorbonne University.
Career
Gallet began his career in 1999 as Deputy Director of Marketing and International Promotion for Erato Disques.
In 2000, he joined Pathé as head of the administration of international sales..
He then became Controller of Management at StudioCanal from 2001 to 2004.
In 2006 he left the private sector and entered the office of François Loos, Minister for Industry, as technical advisor responsible for audiovisual and new technologies.
Gallet is one of the architects of the law which attributes the appointment of the president of Radio France and France Télévisions to President Nicolas Sarkozy.
