On Tuesday, January 23rd of 2018, there was a shooting at Marshall County High School in Kentucky, USA. ^[1]Around 8:00 a.m., a 15 year old named Gabe Parker entered the school with a handgun. ^[2]Two students were killed and more than a dozen people were wounded. ^{[3] [2] [4]}

At least 14 people were taken to hospital to be treated for gunshot wounds.

Another 5 were also injured but were not shot.

Parker was arrested without incident.

Bailey Nicole Holt, a student, was killed at the scene. Hannah Danae, who was wounded in the chest but survived, posted on Snapchat that she had already forgiven the shooter since he was sick.
