Possible Kidnapping of Moniqué Wilson
Police are searching for Marques Porter since they believe he may have coerced or kidnapped Moniqué Wilson, according to a news release from Portsmouth Police Department. [2]
Monique Wilson, 18, was last seen at the McDonald's on the 2600 block of Airline Blvd. in Portsmouth at 6 p.m. Thursday. She was seen getting into Marques's dark green 1998 two-door Honda Accord with Virginia license plate VGA-3672, the release said. [2]
Detectives believe Wilson may have been coerced into leaving the McDonald's with Porter and are concerned for her well-being because all attempts to contact her have been unsuccessful.
Police believe the car is being driven by Marques Porter, 20, of Norfolk, who is a person of Interest in the case. He is described as a Black / African man who is 5'11" and 180 pounds. [1]
The relationship between the two is unclear, but they do know each other, said Portsmouth Police Spokeswoman Misty Holley.
