Maron Greenleaf is an Anthropology PhD. student at Stanford University, where she studies human responses to climate change and efforts create more sustainable forms of economic growth.

She is interested in the social significance of carbon markets and efforts to reduce deforestation and forest degradation to mitigate climate change in Brazil and elsewhere.

Maron graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in political science and earned a J.D. from NYU School of Law.
