Rudolph Johnson known professionally as Lil Marlo, was an American rapper from Atlanta, Georgia signed to the Quality control record label. On July 11, 2020, Johnson was shot and killed in Atlanta on I-285 near the Benjamin E. Mays Drive overpass. [16] [15]
Overview
Lil Marlo grew up in the Bowen Home projects around the 9th ward in western Atlanta alongside popular rapper Lil Baby. He was signed to Quality control in late 2017 and released his first mixtape called,*The Wire.*He's been releasing music videos through his YouTube channel Marlo PFK and has been performing at clubs all around the United States with his PFK Crew. Quality control co-founder Pierre "Pee" Thomas has shown his support for Marlo, saying: [3]

He is one of my favorite artists and he's speaking that real shit."
Death
The Atlanta Police Department confirmed that officers found Johnson shot in a vehicle on Interstate 285 near the Benjamin E. Mays Drive overpass after responding to a call about an accident on Saturday night. [16]
The department believes Johnson was intentionally shot and the department's homicide investigators are looking into the incident.
