Markiko Sonnie Lewis is an American bank robber and criminal who was arrested a day after being released from prison for robbing the same bank he had originally been arrested for robbing years prior.   On May 7th, 2018, Charlamagne Tha God named Lewis the Donkey of the Day. 
Personal Life and Activities
Lewis was sentenced to 30 months in prison in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court in April 2016, including time already served, after pleading guilty to robbing the Key Bank branch in November 2015. 
He was released April 11th, 2018. 
In The Media
On April 12th, 2018, a day after his release from Cuyahoga County prison, Lewis went on to rob the same bank he was arrested for on 2015.  He was caught and apprehended after robbing the Key Bank on 15000 St. Clair Ave., of $1,044.  
Assistant United States Attorney Brian S. Deckert is prosecuting the case following an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigations and the Cleveland Police Department. 
If convicted, the defendant’s sentence will be determined by the court after review of factors unique to this case, including the defendant’s prior criminal record, if any, the defendant’s role in the offense, and the characteristics of the violation. In all cases, the sentence will not exceed the statutory maximum and in most cases it will be less than the maximum.
