Mark P. Meuser is an entrepreneur and a constitutional / election law attorney.
Early Life & Education
Mark Meuser pursued entrepreneurial endeavors at an early age, particularly in the food industry.
At age 12, he picked cherries in the morning and operated a street-side cherry stand.
By age 15, he was in a management position at a local restaurant.
By age 21, he owned his own pizza restaurant; he owned the venue from 1989 to 2000.
As his business made progress, Meuser decided to study law.
He eventually graduated with honors from the Oak Brook College of Law and Government Policy .
[6]While in law school, he served as a law clerk at Thomas G. Maile and Michael Sharman.
Career
After graduating from law school, Mark Meuser became Chief of Staff for Missouri State Senator John William Loudon.

Louis]] and San Francisco, respectively.
In 2008, Meuser opened his own legal practice: The Meuser Law Group.
He aims to "better help small business owners handle California’s complex regulatory environment."
As an attorney, Meuser represented a disabled American in a case entitled Gilstrap v. United Airlines.
Politics
2012 (State Senate)
Mark Meuser's first political campaign was in 2012, during the 2012 election for California's 7th State Senate district.
He and Mark DeSaulnier advanced past the blanket primary on June 5, 2012.
They ran against each other in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012; DeSaulnier was victorious, winning 61.5% of the vote.
2018 (California Secretary of State)
In September 2017, Mark Meuser announced his candidacy to run in California's Secretary of State election in 2018.
