Mark is 38, salesman and has two daughters.  Mark Nurthen is from Utley, West Yorkshire. He was diagnosed in 2011 with lung cancer.  He had rounds of chemotherapy but it wasn't enough to stop the cancer,the tumor returned a year later. They stopped providing his treatment because it is not 'considered a cost effective use of NHS resources'. The only option remaining is a drug called Nivolumab which is twice as effective compared to chemotherapy.
'It's basically a nightmare. You wake up every morning and it's like Groundhog Day,' he said. 'It's not the best to be honest with you.'
