Mark Martineau is an American Hunter and business owner based in South Africa who takes people on hunting safaris.

Martineau has been noted in news reports associated with the viral story of father-daughter hunting team Eli and Aryanna Gourdin, for mentoring them during their safari in 2016.

The Gourdins, and Martineau, would go on to receive death threats from anti-hunting groups and other individuals on social media over the photos that were shared.

The photo was posted on March 23rd, 2018, and received negative reaction by animal activists who disagree with hunting.
