Mark Clancy (born May 26,1976 in Ennis, Ireland) is a former professional boxer.[2]

Career

Boxed In The Cruiserweight Division

Mark Clancy boxed professionally from 2004 to 2008.

He boxed in the orthodox stance in the cruiserweight division. He had eight wins, zero losses and one draw. He scored one knockout. He competed at Madison Square Garden in New York City on March 16, 2007 against Andrew Hutchinson. On August 5, 2005 he defeated Duane Wright at the Foxwoods Resort Casino. He beat Robert Irizarry at the Memorial Hall in Plymouth, Massachusetts in 2006.

Last Bout

Clancy defeated Salah Zabian on June 28, 2008 at The Castle in Boston.

It was his last professional boxing match.

Clancy had fought previously at The Castle on December 15, 2006 when he defeated John Rainwater by unanimous decision.

Rainwater holds a win over Dan Conway.

Personal Life

As of 2019 he resides in Boston, Massachusetts with his wife Caroline and his child. His brother James Clancy also boxed professionally.
