Marisela (telenovela)
Marisela is a Venezuelan telenovela produced and broadcast by RCTV between 1983 and 1984. It starred Tatiana Capote and Franklin Virgüez. It had a second part with the same actors called Acusada.
Plot
Marisela (Tatiana Capote) flees her home to escape the abuse she receives from her father and stepmother.[2] Following a friend, she pretends to be the lover of a rich industrialist, Luis Andrade; however, he ends up falling in love with her and keeping her, consequently.
Marisela, however, has fallen in love with Alvaro (Franklin Virgüez) and maintains both relationships in parallel.
Luis' illness makes the truth rush in: he is Alvaro's father.
But despite the intrigues and doubts, the two young men truly love each other; that's why they manage to put aside the lies, and finally get married.
