Women in Sports Journalism
Marion thinks it is very difficult to be a sports journalist and a woman.
She always has to prove her knowledge to her coworkers.
Furthermore, the sports arena has a very misogynistic atmosphere.
Oftentimes, a woman journalist is cut off during on air and it does not shock anyone.
Marion says women in sports journalism have a minor participatory role on TV.
She says the only woman in the category who really stood out was Nathalie Iannetta.
Finally, Marion says that she often gets uncalled for and vulgar remarks from men, either soccer players or other journalists.
But, she says, "I am an 'in-your-face' type of person and when someone bothers me, I say it!'.
