Maria Boyazny is the founder and CEO of MB Global Partners, a New York-based asset management firm focused on credit and special situations markets.

Before launching MB Global, Boyazny was a managing director and portfolio manager at Siguler Guff & Co., overseeing its flagship Distressed Opportunities Funds I, II, III and IV from inception to assets of $4.5 billion over 10 years.

Boyazny was a member of the firm's investment committee and was involved in all aspects of its investment activities.

Boyazny is the author of several publications, a frequent conference speaker and media commentator for Fox Business, CNN, Bloomberg TV and other networks.

Over the years, she has served on advisory boards of many leading asset management firms investing in the U.S., Asia and Europe.

She earned her B.S. in economics and minor in mathematics from the Wharton School and her M.B.A. from Columbia University.
