Marcus Mabry, award-winning author and journalist and currently the international business editor at The New York Times, was a scholarship student at Lawrenceville School.

Today he serves on the school’s board of trustees, as well as, The Oliver Scholars Program, which provides support to African American and Latino students to gain admission to some of the best independent schools and then guides them through the college admissions process.
