Marcus Intalex
Marcus Kaye, known primarily under the aliases Marcus Intalex and Trevino, was a DJ and musician from Burnley, England, who specialized in Drum and bass music and became a pillar of the Manchester dance music scene. He died on 28 May 2017 from unknown causes. [0]
Career
Marcus began releasing music in the 1990s, and ran the popular Soul:r and Revolve:r labels.
In 2011, Kaye released his debut album, 21, which marked 21 years of involvement with dance music.
Although known for his standout drum & bass productions for a large portion of his career, in 2011 Kaye began the techno-focussed Trevino project and went on to release music with 3024, Hotflush Recordings, Klockworks and The Nothing Special. [1]
Death
On May 28, 2017 Marcus died of unknown causes in Manchester, United Kingdom. He had been slated to play at the Soul:ution party at London's Pickle Factory the same day, due to Marcus's death the event was cancelled. [0]
