Marco Polo (Ma Ge Bo Luo) also known as The Four Assassins is a 1975 Shaw Brothers kung fu film directed by Chang Cheh.[1]
Plot
Six sworn brothers of the oppressed Ming loyalists plan a rebellion against the Mongol rulers. When two of them are brutally killed in their assassination attempt, the remaining four fighters band together to take revenge. They are at a disadvantage because the Emperor is surrounded by three of his best fighters. The four fighters elect to undergo rigorous training, and learn special kung-fu techniques.
Marco Polo, who has been assigned as a viceroy by the Mongol emperor with a priority to thwart these rebels, eventually sides with the rebellion.
