Death

On March 19, 2016 witnesses say he jumped into the water from Pismo Pier in Pismo Beach, California just after 9:30 p.m.

Rescuers searched the area through that weekend but were unable to find him, and police declared Reyes to be a missing person.

On April 25, 2016 his body was found by visitors walking along the beach.

Police say investigators were able to identify the body as Reyes by the clothing he was wearing and several distinct tattoos.
