In February 2019 Zoia received media attention after a video of her allegedly throwing two chairs from a 45th storey balcony in Toronto was shared widely on social media.
On Wednesday February 13, 2019, Zoia turned herself into Toronto police at around 7:00 a.m. and was charged with mischief endangering life, mischief involving damage to property and common nuisance. [1]
The incident is believed to have occurred Saturday February 9, 2019 at around 10:00 a.m. at a condo in the Harbour and York Street area, overlooking the Gardiner Expressway and Lakeshore Boulevard in Toronto.
