Memarian has held executive positions at hotels such as Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi and Chedi Andermatt in Switzerland. Before arriving in the United Arab Emirates in 2010, Memarian worked in various hotels and dining establishments in Europe. During his eight-month tenure as head chef at Jagdhof Glashütte in Germany in 2006, the restaurant earned a Michelin star . 
Memarian later moved to Innsbruck, Austria, to open Pavillon restaurant and shortly thereafter, the restaurant was also awarded a Michelin star. In 2008 he was named the 'Best International Chef' in Austria and his cookbook Gourmet Raffinessen was voted 'Best Cookbook' in the same country. 
At Palazzo Versace Dubai, Memarian oversees the hotel's culinary operations including its six restaurants and two bars, as well as catering services.
