Malik Jordan was a 20-year-old college student at Georgia State University. ^[1]

He attended Dougherty Comprehensive High School and was a member of the school's marching band, playing the saxophone. Malik was a fan of the television show, The Boondocks. He is remembered by his peers as being dedicated bandmate and for always being there for his friends. ^[1]

On January 7th around 7:15 am, Malik was driving back to school on I-75 in his Lincoln Navigator when he patch of ice on the bridge over Georgia 42. He lost control of his vehicle and collided into a tree. When the authorities arrived, they pronounced him dead at the scene. Witnesses say that Malik was driving around 80 MPH. Police are investigating the incident. ^[2]
