Malaysia Pargo (Laquisha) (born August 12th, 1980 in Compton, Los Angeles, California) is the ex-wife of Jannero Pargo who starred in the Reality television shows Basketball Wives and Basketball Wives: LA. [7][4]

Malaysia was born in a rough area of Compton, Los Angeles, California. She had a younger brother named Dontae Hayes who was shot and killed by the police on New Year's Eve of December 2013 when he was only 20 years old. Malaysia's cousin is basketball player Byron Scott. [57]

Malaysia was 22 years old when she met her ex-husband, Jannero Pargo, at a party in Los Angeles, California. She has three children and two of them are twins. [5]

The couple officially divorced in June 2016 after a 17 month separation.

Malaysia was given half of her ex's Pension, the rights to the company 3BeatsL LLC, and and a 401k. She also got a 2015 Mercedes Benz G550, access to three checking accounts, and a money market account. Jannero will also have to pay child support of about $14,580 for the three kids, plus $800 for child care. [9]

In 2018, it was rumored that she dated rappers O.T. Genesis and Mally Mall. In August of 2019, Tia Becca from Love & Hip Hop called her out for dating her ex-husband Bryant “B. Moe”. She claimed he owes her $25,000, won't take responsibility for his children, has a sexually-transmitted disease, and even goes so far as to imply he's gay. [59]

In 2018, Malaysia posted a picture of herself with her twins and was criticized for not having them in braces. Fans quickly came to her aid and supported her parenting decisions. [65]

Career

Malaysia Pargo is an entrepreneur with her hands in several ventures. Aside from her appearances on the shows Basketball Wives and Basketball Wives LA, Malaysia has also made appearances in Datzhott, The Arsenio Hall Show, Home & Family, The Eric Andre Show, Hip Hop Squares, Noches con Platanito, AbSIRd, Big Morning Buzz Live and the music video for “Nothing” by Mase. Malaysia is the founder and owner of Three Beats Jewelry and 3BeatsL.

She also partnered with upholstery and furniture company, Hedgecock Creed, to develop an affordable line of luxurious bedding. She said about the collection: [10]

"There was a void in the marketplace for affordable luxe glam bedding, so I decided to fill it by creating a line that was true to my sense of fashion.

I believe everyone deserves to feel glamorous even while they sleep."

As of 2018, Malayasia Pargo has an estimated net worth of $3,500,000. [56]
