Maggie Kent was born on 19 June 1990 in South Philadelphia United States. She is very close to her parents and continually posts pictures with her family on social media.[3]

Maggie has not revealed information about her siblings yet, but she tends to surprise her family on special occasions.

At 29, she cherished the presence of her parents in her life and makes time for them despite her busy schedule.

Maggie Kent studied at Central High School and completed her education at Montclair State University, where she gained a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting. Apart from Journalism, Maggie is also a shopaholic and a talkative person![5][6]

Maggie Kent is married to Kevin Kent, she started dating her husband Kevin Kent while still at high school.

Maggie, who was lucky enough to get engaged to her Junior prom date, was thrilled to spend the entire life with him.

Career

Maggie Kent started her career carrying her own camera through the streets of the Bronx as a multimedia journalist and reporter for News 12 The Bronx and Brooklyn.

Magdalena began her media career in 2011 with internships at WWOR-TV, Inside Edition and WABC-TV.

Maggie Kent continued to work for WABC TV, NY, as a desk assistant where she put together new scripts and restored archived videos.

At the same time, she also operated the teleprompter on the live ‘Eyewitness News’ broadcasts.

She eventually became the evening anchor, and it was there that she was nominated for an Emmy Award for her series “Wheels in Motion.” The story follows the lives of two paralyzed New Yorkers who have founded a non-profit helping others regain their mobility.

In 2016, Maggie joined the team at WCBS-TV in New York City. There, she covered a wide range of stories including the 2016 Presidential debate at Hofstra University, terrorist attacks, storm coverage, and countless local and international issues.

Maggie has also worked as a freelance reporter at News 12.

In an interview, she revealed that she left her job at WCBS-TV and moved to 6ABC so she could be closer to her family in Philadelphia. Maggie had spent most of her life in Philadelphia but had to move to New York in 2007 because of her job.

Maggie Kent covers the breaking, feature and general assignment stories around Philadelphia. For her outstanding work at WPVI-TV, she is provided with a hefty salary.
