Madeleine Kerr, known by her nickname, Maddy, is an American paralegal in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is a recent graduate of UC Berkeley where she was a defensive Specialist for the women's Volleyball team. She is the middle child and only daughter of Steve and Margot Kerr.

Maddy was born and raised in the state of California to parents Steve Kerr and Margot Brennan. She was born in the city of San Diego and grew up in several cities throughout her life, but would mostly live in SoCal.
Growing up, Maddy Kerr didn't take t o her dad's sport -Basketball. From age 10 on, it has been volleyball.
She is a graduate of Torrey Pines High School, a school where she was a star Volleyball player and a student with academic achievements. She led her team to win two straight CIF San Diego Section Division I championships. She is also a three -time San Diego Union-Tribune All-Academic Selection.
During high school she was considered the No. 65 Senior Ace by Prepvolleyball.com.
She was a "Fab 50" selection by Volleyball Magazine.

Kerr is a University of California, Berkeley alumni who graduated in 2017 with Bachelor's degrees in Media studies and Rhetoric. She was a Varsity Volleyball Senior the on the Division 1 volleyball team. She was a four year starter and three year captain.
As a libero, or defensive specialist, for the Bears, it's Kerr's job to save balls headed for the court by "digging" them out and keeping them in play for her teammates.

Internships
While at UC Berkeley, Kerr interned for several companies and organizations at her institution.
She interned for Glodow Nead Communications in the San Francisco Bay Area.
She also interned at the Cal Football Recruiting Office at UC Berkeley.
She assisted the football recruiting chair and helped organize and develop database regarding football recruiting information.
She wrote informative letters to communicate with recruits and also corresponded with football media relations.
She also lead recruits on campus tours.

She was a part of a team responsible for the marketing and communications for the host committee.
She was a part of the organization responsible for the planning and production of Super Bowl 50, the largest single-day sporting event in the world.

TheSkimm is a daily e-mail newsletter which breaks down worldwide daily news into short, informative blurbs of fresh editorial content.
During her time as an athlete at Cal, she was also a blogger for the school site.
Each week for about two years, she contributed a post on the Cal Athletics website regarding the volleyball teamโs activity.

Kerr is currently a Paralegal for Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy, LLP. She started in September of 2017. She is a part of a plaintiff-side litigation team specializing in complex False Claims Act cases in both state and federal court.
She primarily works on Qui Tam cases involving healthcare fraud.
She is responsible for evidence analysis for more than 10 cases.
She helps draft discovery requests and responses, motions, pleadings, complaints.
