Luke Kyriazis, better known as Luke Alexander, is a DJ and electronic music producer based in New York City.
Biography
Musical Beginnings

Luke originally was a skateboarder.
After realizing his talents were more towards filming skateboarding than him skateboarding himself, Luke started to make videos of his friends in action.
In one video he was editing, Luke wanted to add a kick and a snare drum to a song he wanted to put in the background.
He figured it out and gradually started teaching himself how to produce more music.
As he was pursuing his producing dreams, his parents still forced him to go to college.
Finding a way around this, Luke paid his friend to complete his college courses for $100 a week to keep the appearance of going to college.
Luke would also get people to slip flyers under dorm room doors of his upcoming shows.
He would eventually drop out and focus on music full-time.
Development and Success
Luke has played major festivals such as the Minus Zero Festival with deadmau5, Kaskade, and Jauz.
He has received support from Autograf and has officially remixed their songs "Dead Soon" which released under Casablanca Records label Alt Vision and "Sleepless In NYC" which released on Armada Deep.
In addition, he has remixed songs by The Chainsmokers to wide acclaim.

Luke describes the evolution of his music starting with progressive house and transitioning more towards future bass.
He characterizes has sound as "rock n' roll", melodic, and bass.
He cites Porter Robinson as a huge influence on his production and Laidback Luke inspiring his live performances.
