Lucia Anderson, born Bernard McCalip was an American transgender woman who died after ingesting $5.00 seeds known as Cerbera Odollam (Pong Pong Seed). Anderson hailed from Chicago, Illinois.

Anderson bought the seeds from Thailand.

They come from a tree known as the "suicide tree".

Lucia died on February 15, 2016 from heart failure due to the seeds.

Lucia's mom is currently trying to spread the message of the dangerous seeds.

However, many are angered that in an interview with ABC News she used the male pronoun to refer to Lucia. An alarmingly high 40% of transgender individuals attempt suicide.
