Lourdes Maria Ciccone Leon was born 14th October 1996 in Los Angeles, California USA. She is the first child of the highly-accomplished and popular singer/actress, Madonna and her mother’s then partner Carlos Manuel Leon

Lourdes’ mother, Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone was born on 16 August 1958 to an Italian father and her mother of Canadian-French descent.

Madonna married actor Sean Penn in August 1985, but they divorced in January 1989.

Lourdes attended a French school, Lycée Francais de New York, and learnt about differing cultures, and to speak French, Spanish and Italian.

She then attended the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts from which she graduated in 2014.

She also furthered her studies in Performing Arts at the University of Michigan.

In December 2019, Lourdes was a featured model in a mock orgy that took place during Art Basel in Miami. The simulated session was a part of a fashion show for Spanish designer brand Desigual that occurred during an event designed by Carlota Guerroro, a performance artist based in Barcelona. Models of the show walked down the runway and fixed themselves in a human pyramid. Lourdes, the last of the bunch, danced her way to the group in her tie-dyed dress before posing with her fellow models. After that, the models stripped the clothing off of each other and threw them onto the floor. Then, covered in nipples and nude underwear, they caressed each other and pretended to make out.^[16]
