Personal Life
Louis is a devout Christian and family man who loves his wife and children dearly. He's been married to his wife Sharlene for more than 28 years and is a father to three daughters: Christina Arriola, Taryn Sims, and Jadyn Arriola. [2]
Louis was a member of the United States Marine Corps from 1980 to 1988 and studied Military Technologies and Applied Sciences. Louis also has his CC Plus Microsoft certification in Network Engineering. [1]
He loves to travel with his wife to exotic locations, having traveled to the British Virgin Islands, Jost Van Dyke, to share in missionary work with his congregation. [2]
Career
Louis started his career as director of sales for Pacific Bell where he created a successful engineering strategy for Scripps Hospital Networks. He soon jumped ship to Winstar Communications and acted as the vice president of sales, securing over $200 million in revenue every year. [1]
Louis's next gig was as the VP of global networks at AT&T, he worked there for over five years, solidifying partnerships and creating revenue channels of over one billion dollars a year. Arriola then spent another five years as the CEO of QT Networks. He then moved over to Virtutone Networks where he was responsible for generating over 50 million dollars in revenue every month. [1]
In 2013, Louis Arriola became the chief operations officer at LDI Networks brokering major deals in telecommunications.
In 2015, he struck out on his own to be a film producer, heading NYLA Production. His first film, “Will to Love”, starring Keshia Knight Pulliam, Marques Houston, and Draya Michelle and written and directed by Chris Stokes, went straight to DVD and was quite successful with TV One Network purchasing the rights in 2015. He followed that up with "A Weekend with The Family", directed by Chris Stokes and starring Marques Houston and Karrueche Tran. He also produced "Boy Bye" for Netflix and the critically claimed TV drama series,* Up North*. [3][5]
Since 2010 Arriola has been carving his path as an entrepreneur, working in foreign and domestic real estate and developing small ventures like a regenerative medical center that specializes in stem cell therapy called Gentera LLC. He also opened up Pro Capital Film Studio in Santo Domingo, Domincan Republic which which offers a 5G broadband network, a studio facility, tech training and game development, film/TV production and a data center. Arriola immediately partnered with two of the Domican Republic's best filmmakers, Ramon Rodriguez and Tristan Desechenes and produced two local films in 2017 called "Guzbay NY" and "Cuando No Es Juan Es Juana". Both films passed $1,000,000 in the box office. Arriola has set his humanitarian efforts on the Domincan Republic and has said "I’ve been doing business in the DR for the past 12 years; I know and believe in this country" and "I want to bring digital literacy to the Dominican Republic where 80% of the schools have no access to the internet.” [4][6]
