Loryn Powell (born February 25, 1987) is an American Writer and Comedian, who worked as a Producer at Game Show Network's Door3. Loryn Powell also co-created the web series Calling In Drunk. She has been a writer on series titled Toplist, Photobomb, 4 Facts 1 Lie, Skin Wars: Naked Truth, and Dirty Mind Challenge.[10]
Early Life and Education
Loryn Powell was born on Wednesday, February 25, 1987, in Virginia, United States. Loryn Powell's Zodiac sign is Pisces.
Loryn Powell studied media production and screenwriting at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill from 2005 to 2009.[9]
Career
Loryn Powell started her career at Zero Day Fox (which was then Fox Digital Studio) in 2011. Between July 2011 to March 2014, Loryn Powell worked as the creative consultant in Fox Digital Studio, she wrote and directed a comedic short film under the SVP’s mentorship, she assembled social media outreach plans for web series releases, she created IMDb pages for new web series, she created pitch packets, and she audited production. Loryn Powell also created and maintained a digital library of production wrap binders, she managed Quickbooks, and she oversaw production interns.[12]
Loryn Powell joined GSN (Door3) in May 2014 as a title marketing and development manager.
Loryn Powell introduced promotional and outreach tasks for talent and kept track of viral trends.
In May 2015, Loryn Powell became a senior producer.
As the senior producer, Loryn produced 18 short-form shows and 179 episodes, she wrote, directed, and hosted a variety of web videos on YouTube, with a focus on shareable content, audience participation, and viewer engagement.
She created after-shows for TV programming.
She also managed and mentored two creative producers and supervised all production, among others.[12]
Loryn Powell moved to Defy Media in November 2019. She worked as a senior producer. Loryn Powell is presently a freelancer and a lifestyle comedian.[8]

Loryn Powell married Shawn Casey in September 2015. She wrote and illustrated on her blog The Unfortunate Comedy of Loryn Powell. She started collecting traffic cones while attending the University of North Carolina.[1]
