On December 24, 2017, Lorraine was killed and her husband seriously injured after two pit bulls mauled them. ^{[1] [0]}

The pit bulls attacked Johnny and his wife Lorraine in their yard.

The attack happened on Wiser Branch Road just after 10:00 a.m. local time.

Lorraine died during the attack after receiving massive injuries about her neck, face and shoulder, while Johnny was bitten on his head, arm and hand and taken to the hospital for treatment.
