Lori Anne Allison (born September 06, 1957) is an American celebrity makeup artist and entrepreneur. She was the former wife of Hollywood actor Johnny Depp.^[1][2]

She was born on September 6, 1957 in the United States.

Right as a child she had always been interested in doing makeup.

She would cut and style her dolls’ hair and apply makeup on them using colored pens.

Right from an early age she started her career as she had begun sketching makeup looks on paper, and applying her makeup ideas on her dolls.

She eventually mastered basic makeup skills at the age of 11.

When she was 13 she got a full makeup experience.She

walked into a small makeup boutique on Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, Florida and got a full-face makeup done by one of the sales ladies in the boutique. There, she learned some real techniques of makeup. She also learned that makeup was actually about enhancing one’s features and not about exaggerating them.

She grew up have inspiration and influence from musicians, models, drag queens, and actors.

One of biggest sources of inspiration in makeup was David Bowie and makeup artist Way Bandy.

She moved Los Angeles, California to pursue her career in the field of makeup and stayed at 'Hotel Chelsea.' She wanted to enter the field of music initially as she knew a lot of people in the music industry but after a terrible incident leaving her partially deaf in the left ear she shifted her focus back to music.

Her friends musician Adam Ant and actor Christina Applegate helped her alot as Christina gifted her a professional makeup kit and her first job on TV while Adam helped her bag her first film and her first play. She then her debut as a makeup artist with the 1992 film 'Sunset Heat (film)' she also worked in several films such as 'Cyber Bandits' (1995), 'The Ultimate Lie' (1996), 'Supreme Court of Comedy' (2008), and 'Stand Up to Cancer' (2008).

As an entrepreneur she owns her own makeup product range 'Serendipity Lip Glosses,' launched in 2015.

She also owns 'D’Cups' a small cupcake business.

She was married to American Actor Johnny Depp despite their age difference her being 25 then and Johnny being 20.

The two got married in 1983 and parted ways two years later in 1985 due to irreconcilable differences.

The two finally got divorced on March 7, 1986 and she had no children from the marriage.

The two still maintain a good-friendly relation and she supported him when he was once accused of physically abusing his then-wife, Amber Heard.

She stood up to his defence saying the man (Johnny Depp) is a very kind person and would never in a million years assault a woman. Although after his divorce from her he dated other celebrities like Jennifer Grey, Holly Robinson Peete, Tally Chanel, Peggy Trentini, Ellen Barkin, Kate Moss, Vanessa Paradis, Kiley Evans.

Although after her divorce she has not been seen dating another person.

She has earn a good amount as her annual salary is over $60,000.
