London Jae

London Jae

London Jae is one of the most consistent rapper and songwriter in the game from Atlanta. London Jae is also for his singing and wide range in his voice. He's signed to B.o.B's No Genre label and has been heavily cosigned by Tip .

So far, he has released 8 projects.[5]

Early Life

London Jae was born and raised in Atlanta. He grew up in the ghetto but he witnessed how music could change the lives of those around him and was inspired to get into music. He grew up listening to Cam'ron and Tupac Shakur and could easily envision himself rapping in their shoes. He later realized he could sing when he was 10 years old and took to the studio in 2010:

I waited forever for it, I wasn’t going to do it.

It was a weird feeling.

It was as bad as I thought.

Ain’t nobody paying me no attention, ain’t nobody grading me on how good or bad I’m singing, they just want me to sing

He started making his own music in 2011.[1]

Career

London Jae released his debut tape in 2015 "Better L8TE Than Never", featuring the strong single "Juice" to his new mixtape. As of May, 2016, he released four projects in addition to the self-titled release from Atlanta super group Bankroll Mafia, which he was part of alongside T.I.,Young Thug, Shad da God and Duke. He was later signed to B.O.B's No Genre Label.[1]

Working with two of Atlanta's most accredited artists, B.o.B and Tip, challenged him to do more because he was being pushed to try new things and get better daily:

"It’s challenging more than anything because they are going to push," Jae told XXL while visiting the office in New York.

"B.o.B,

I ain’t never seen no shit like this, he’ll come out the booth with a guitar, flute, anything. He’ll

play anything. Now

I’m accustomed to it but I used to look at it like, What the fuck? This

nigga knows how to play everything. B.o.B

is a genius. With

Tip it’s just his ability to stay Tip with all the shit he has going on. He’s

just still Tip." [1]

In 2018, he released the project, "Gunz and Roses" which featured appearances from Travis Scott, T.I. and Kehlani followed by "No Basic" in the same year. After a year he dropped "King Pf Heartz" in March 2019. London Jae holds down the entire album without being accompanied by a single feature.[6]

Social Media

He managed a YouTube channel of 5.53k subscribers with almost 1.4 million views. On Instagram, he has 56.1k followers where he shared pictures and clips of events and some daily activities. He also has 93 tracks available on Soundcloud with 12.4k followers. [2][3][4]
