Logan Smith was a 17-year-old from West Union, West Virginia.

Logan grew up in Doddridge County, West and attended Doddridge County High School where he just finished up his junior year. An athlete, Logan was a member of his school's football team and was listed as a wide receiver, outside linebacker, and cornerback. Heading into his senior season, Logan was seen as a leade r on the squad. Logan is remembered for his work ethic and vibrant spirit.

Logan was traveling south on Rte 18 when his car veered out of its lane and collided head-on with a dump truck. Logan died from his injuries. The other driver is expected to recover.

A prayer is being held on May 25th at Cline Stansbury Stadium in honor of Logan.
