Lloyd Dean Buie was was a former Southwest Airlines employee who quit his job in April 2015.

He committed suicide on November 15, 2016, after fatally wounding Michael Winchester.

On November 15, 2016, Buie waited for his victim to carry out a premeditated attack on him at the Will Rogers World Airport.

^[0] At 12.50pm, Winchester was leaving work for the day and walking to his car in an employee parking lot when Buie opened fire on him from the fourth floor of a parking garage.

Buie was later found dead from an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound inside a red pickup truck in a parking garage near where police believe he waited, airport employees come and go before shooting Winchester.
