She was married to David Somers.

Education

Somers graduated from Ludington High School in 1985. She studied Business administration at Ferris State University.

Death

On Saturday, January 6, 2018, Lisa and David were found dead from gunshot wounds after 10:00 p.m. local time on the side of I-96 in Boston Township. A loaded shotgun was found underneath David's body on the roadway's shoulder. [1]

A responding deputy discovered a Silver Chevrolet Equinox parked on the roadway with the lift gate and passenger side doors opened. A third victim was found inside the vehicle, injured by an apparent gunshot wound. [1]

Authorities stated the incident was a case of an apparent murder and suicide. [1]
