Lisa Petrillo (Age 34 years old) is lifestyle and social journalist for WFOR, CBS 4. She is an award wining journalist with special trait of selflessness in her duties as a reporter.

Lisa is married to her husband “Bill” and they are blessed with two children.

She attend University of Miami where she obtianed her Bachelor of Science in Broadcast journalism and a minor in Marketing.

Lisa started her career in mid 1986 as communications manager for the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau. In that same years, Lisa began her television career at WPLG as a full time producer. Due to her sincerity and hardwork, she was named the station’s entertainment reporter in 1988. With such accolade to her job, she put in more effort in making good news. Following the award and recognition at WPLG, she became a national correspondent on the NBC show called “Real Life”.

Having much accolade to her name as an entertainment reporter, Lisa has also hosts the CBS4 “Taste of the Town “ segment in the bead of celebrating South Florida’s growing culinary scene and reports on fashion, travel and other lifestyle trends. She was named one of the 10 (ten) Best Dressed Women (journalist) in Miami, Florida by the American Cancer Society.

In 2001, Lisa officially joined WFOR, CBS4 as an entertainment and lifestyle reporter.

As an entertainment reporter in South Florida, she has interviewed a lot of celebrities, among them are Paul McCartney, Sting, Tom Cruise, Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Lopez, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Elton John, Tom Hanks, Warren Beatty and the late Audrey Hepburn.

Lisa was honored by the Art museum Fort Lauderdale Beaux Arts Group with an award for her dedication and commitment to the arts in 2015.

Also in 2016, she was awarded the “Silver Circle Award” from the Suncoast Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS.) for her skills in reporting, hard work, dedication to her job and friendliness to those around her.

In that same year, she was recognized by the television professionals for making significant contributions to television over the past 25 years.

In November 2016, Lisa was honored by the “Columbus High School” with the Media Excellence Award for “Best Entertainment Reporter” of the year. She was so happy for such a privilege and special recognition, she said.

Apart from her reporting job, Lisa is involved with numerous humanitarian activities which include the “Multiple Sclerosis Society”, “St.

Jude’s Children’s Hospital”, “Miami Children’s Health Foundation”, “Diabetes Research Institute”, and “Cystic Fibrosis” among others.
