Linzi Sheldon is an American journalist and Investigative Reporter & Weekend Anchor. She works as an anchor for News Saturday and Sunday evenings at 5 p.m., 6:30 p.m., and 11:00 p.m. at the CBS-affiliated television station, KIRO 7 -TV News.^{[1] [2]}

Linzi was born in Richmond, British Columbia and she grew up in the Okanagan Valley, United States.^[3][4]

She is married to Nick and their wedding photos were taken by photographer Mary Kalhor.

She likes to keep her personal life private.

She resides in Seattle, United States with her husband.

Linzi Sheldon found a spark for Journalism while she was a student at Penticton Secondary School, where she graduated in 2002. She occasionally submitted stories to The Herald.

She went to Dartmouth College in the year 2003 where she studied and graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Creative Writing in 2007.

Afterward, she joined the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in 2007 where she likewise studied and graduated with honors as well as a Master of Science in Journalism in 2008.

Linzi Sheldon began her career in June 2008 to Aug 2010 at WHEC-TV 10 NBC where she worked as Reporter.

In September 2010 to August 2013, Linzi reported for WSOC-TV in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she covered in-depth the controversial fight for control of Charlotte Douglas International Airport. ^[7]

She also broke the story that a highly-paid city tourism CEO was continuing to receive $20,000 a month even after he was replaced.

While at WSOC-TV, she covered the Democratic National Convention, the John Edwards federal criminal trial, and Hurricane Irene making landfall on the North Carolina coast.^[6]

Currently, Linzi works at KIRO-TV. She joined KIRO-TV in August 2013 as a Weekend Morning Anchor & Reporter and was promoted to weekend evening (Saturday and Sunday evenings at 5 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.) anchor on Jan 2016. ^[5]

In Linzi free time, she enjoys running, playing tennis, traveling, and searching for the perfect meal.
