Linux the Robot
Linux the Robot is a genderless nightlife personality and alter ego based on Linux, which is "glitchy", symbolizing some characteristic of the persona. Linux the Robot released a self-produced album in 2016 called "Everybody Hates Linux". The character was featured in an article by BULLETT (http://bullettmedia.com/article/meet-linux-the-nyc-nightlife-newcomer-everybody-loves-to-hate/) where they encourages those facing oppression to "stay major, do better, and love harder," (Bullett).
Linux continues making appearances in nightlife, and is currently working for Susanne Bartsch and Kayvon Zand. In the past, Linux has worked for nightlife personalities Ladyfag and Nicky Ottav.
Linux the Robot lives in an art collective with peer residents Joe Exclamation (@joeexclamation), Francesca Montalbano (@cisgusting), Andriy Volkov (@andriyvolkov), and Sintra Martins (@saintsintra).
