Lindsey Rotuno was a 17-year-old from Grafton, Ohio.

Lindsey Rotuno is originally from Elyria, Ohio but moved to Grafton sometime in her youth. She attended Midview High School (Grafton, Ohio) and was well-liked by her peers. Outside of school, Lindsey worked as an employee at Subway. In her free time, she enjoyed being around friends and family. Lindsey is remembered for her infectious smile and kind spirit.

During the early morning of May 21st around 3 AM, Lindsey was a passenger in a 2004 Saturn Ion that was being driven by Chase Johnson on State 82. He lost control of the vehicle, entered a grassy median at the intersection of State 57, and collided with two utility poles before coming to a stop. Lindsey was killed from the crash; she was not wearing a seatbelt. Chase suffered serious injuries and was transported to the hospital. Although speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the accident, drug use by Johnson is suspected as a possibility.

A candlelight vigil in honor of Lindsey is being held May 22nd at 7 PM at the Midview High School Football Field.
