Personal Life & Education

Vela was the mother of three children.

She attended University of the Incarnate Word from 2014-2016 and Palo Alto College from 1996-1998. [1]

Vela worked as a caterer. Her friends and family remember her as being motivational and was inspirational. [1]

Death

On December 27, 2017, Vela was found dead inside her bedroom along with her boyfriend in a suspected murder suicide. [1] A GoFundMe campaign for Vela has raised over $900 of the $10,000 goal. [1]
