Linda Sebezo

Linda Sebezo (born 11 November 1964) is a South African actress,singer and director.[1] She best known for her roles in Generations (South African TV series) as Maude Mazibuko, Phenyo's mother and Lillian on Isibaya, as well as a dangerous inmate on highly acclaimed Mzansi Magic's prison drama Lockdown (South African TV series).

Career

Linda Sebezo began her acting career in 1980 in a Gibson Kente play. In 2009 she directed two of Gibson Kente's plays: The Call and Mfowethu. In 2013 she portrayed Maude Mazibuko on Generations (South African TV series) alongside, Menzi Ngubane, Katlego Danke, Zolisa Xaluva.

Linda Sebezo has also starred in shows such as Hlala Kwabafileyo, Kwa Khala nyonini, Gaz'lam, Rhythm City (TV series), Sgudi 'Snaysi, Skwizas and she cuurently stars as Lillian on Mzansi Magic's Telenovela Isibaya alongside Thuli Thabethe, Abdul Khoza, Nomzamo Mbatha, and Andile Mxakaza. [2] Sebezo is a two time South African Film and Television Awards winner.
