Lillee Jean (born Lillee Jean Trueman on April 18, 2001) is a well known American social media YouTuber & Instagram celebrity. She is an entrepreneur, self-taught make-up artist, model, actress, environmentalist, and anti-bullying and cyberbullying advocate, born in Yonkers, New York. a make-up artist, beauty blogger, environmentalist, and anti-bullying advocate born in Yonkers, New York.
From an early age Lillee Jean was drawn to the arts, using the internet to create stop-motion videos, while studying makeup and fashion online, that inspired her to get involved with painting, drawing, sculpting and early photography. She mainly focuses on beauty content on her YouTube and Instagram Channels. Lilee Jean has used her platforms to advocate for mental health, as well as educating her fans on the perils of cyberbullying. She is the CEO of Lillee Jean Beauty, Inc.[69][1][8]

Lillee Jean was born in Yonkers, New York and is of Jewish and Lutheran religious descent. She is French and English on her father’s side and Ukrainian and German on her mother’s side. Lillee’s great-great-grandmother Jean escaped Alsace-Lorraine, France in the 1870s, as a result of German rule in the country. Jean would immigrate to the United States of America through Ellis Island and ended up settling in Pennsylvania. On her mother’s side, her great-great-grandmother, Devorah, was forced to leave the Ukraine by the Tsar's soldiers. She would end up settling in New York with her family.
Lillee Jean’s parents, Laura Rene Marks-Trueman and Diamond Earl Trueman have been married since 1986.
Her mother has provided props, as a subcontractor for the entertainment industry, for over 25 years, working with such studios at Paramount Studios, Warner Bros., and Lionsgate, etc. Some of the projects she has worked on have included Mad Men, Men in black movie series, Public Enemies, DC Comics, Batman TV Series, Gotham, and Sucker Punch,[8] to name a few. Her father was a session drummer, and worked with various music studios on the East Coast, notably working with studios on tracks for musicians such as Jimi Hendrix and Alvin Lee.[9][10] He was raised by his aunt and his uncle, who was the Vice President of Universal Artists.
Her father, Diamond, was a session drummer from the late 1960s through the mid-1970s.
He worked with various music studios backing up well-known artists such as Leslie West, before he joined Mountain in the late 1960s. He also worked with Jimi Hendrix, and Alvin Lee. Raised by his aunt and his uncle, who was the Vice President of Universal Studios, he played in most of the popular rock 'n roll and jazz clubs throughout the 1970s in New York City. His band was signed to RCA in 1968, but Vietnam changed all that, breaking them up before they could record their first tracks.
Lillee Jean faced bullying at a young age, being overweight, and shy, thus becoming the target for other children to make fun of her.
She recalls, "being teased by [her] peers, sometimes relentlessly…”, something she didn’t quite fully understand.
She goes on to say that her childhood was also marked with a health scare when“...[she] started developing a black patch on her neck….”, which her pediatrician warned could lead her to pre-diabetes if she didn’t change her diet.
She would later do a video for Underdogs Collective,[92] a website dedicated to people who have triumphed over adversity in their lives.
In her video, Lillee Jean says, “When I was younger, I was pre-diabetic.
I had a black patch on my neck.
That basically means that I was on the verge of becoming a diabetic...".
She also addressed the bullying that she endured at an early age.
She says, “When I used to go to school, I would be picked on a lot.
People would call me fat and people who were my friends would literally, behind my back, talk about me.”
The video was done to educate people to the perils of bullying, as well as health conditions that can occur if not taken care of.
Lillee Jean attended school in Queens, New York, and for the first year of her high school she attended Bayside High School in Bayside, New York. Due to her various commitments that began to present themselves, she later switched to homeschooling, finishing her high school years with Keystone High School, an accredited online school in Pennsylvania. She graduated high school with a 3.86 GPA. She is the CEO of her own company, Lillee Jean Beauty Inc.[93] and was named one of the “9 Top Influencers to Watch” by Hollywood Digest, in 2020.

Lillee Jean became interested in the arts at an early age.
Her first attempt at videography was creating stop motion doll blogs,[97] which she produced, and filmed herself. Her love of videography, led her to the world of cosmetics, fashion and lifestyle. She became interested in makeup tutorials by the age of 10, and started self-publishing her makeup looks on Beautylish and her own Blogspot, before she was 15.[98]
Lillee Jean posted her first beauty blog post on Blogspot in December, 2011.
The following year, she joined the online beauty community on Beautylish loggerllil,” recording content that mirrored her content from Beautylish.
and also created her first YouTube channel, under the username “themakeupBloggerllil”.[9]
In 2015, at 15, she opened up her second Blogspot under the username “thaeyeballqueen”, where she started posting her makeup tutorials, independent from a community board site.
Simultaneously, she created the Instagram handle @ThaEyeballQueen, and would review beauty products, as well as creating makeup tutorials for her blog.
Brands such as Andrea Lashes, and Violet Voss,[47] would take notice and send her products to review for her fans, that were growing as she posted.
August, 2016, saw Lillee Jean becoming more adventurous with her beauty looks.
She would create a glitter lip look, which was then featured by Tarte Cosmetics on their Instagram page.
Her makeup looks, throughout the rest of the year were reposted by Sephora Beauty Board, (October Pinterest mailer), Huda Beauty, (showcasing Huda’s lashes), and Morphe Brushes, (end of season eyeliner promotion).
Public Events
Lillee Jean joined Proactiv in July, 2018 in their “Packing Out Event” for underprivileged children.[101] She joined with their spokespeople, Latina Singer Maite Perroni and well-known dermatologist, Dr. Rachel Nazarin, to help pack school bags with new books, and pencils, for children that could not afford new school supplies.[18][19][104]
She attended a three-day long weekend pop-up event for Drunk Elephant in June, 2019.[105][106][25] Additionally, that month she would record a makeup tutorial at the Wander Beauty pop-up store, in New York City.[108][109][110] In July, 2019, Lillee Jean attended the opening of the “Then I Met You” pop-up store for SOKO Glam.[111] She also attended the Ulta Beauty’s Holiday: Gift, Gather, Glow! Event in August, 2019. In September, 2019, she attended New York Fashion Week (NYFW), as a personal guest of supermodel Patricia Hartmann, owner of Runway Rogue.[112]

She was interviewed on staying strong while dealing with cyberbullying, how she began her career at such a young age, and positive ways to keep focused on goals.

When she was 15, Lillee Jean was targeted on Reddit, by a subreddit group that attempted to scare, isolate and degrade her.. This was the first time she had ever encountered cyberbullying, and she publicly shared to her Instagram account what was happening to her.
She would later be targeted again, by people in the Reddit and Twitter communities, at 18, which triggered a well known black website to pick up the gossip. Lillee Jean's privacy was breached, in 2019, with doxing, and again in 2021 with swatting.[136] She publicly has spoken out about having posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), from the several false police tips that have been called in,
In February 2020, Lillee Jean wrote her first opinion editorial (Op-ed) piece for Medium on cyberstalking, and cyberbullying. This piece went in depth on the cyberbullying she had endured for three years, from a psychological standpoint, using several medical sources to explain what exactly a cyberstalker is, and how they operate. She infamously exclaimed, “I am Lillee Jean.”
Environmental Advocacy
Lillee Jean’s advocacy has led her to also contribute to educating people about the environment, and global warming.
In November, 2018, she collaborated with Choose Today, for a short video and photo campaign to spread awareness to others.
That same month she joined the UNFCCC, with a video she posted on her Instagram to help spread awareness on environmental protection.
The video was reposted as a part of their “Take Your Seat” campaign on Twitter.[137][138][139]
